The weather was outstanding and the views incredible.
The roads got a little narrow at times. Vera was on the other side of the bus, and said that there was a large drop-off.
Lots of photo opportunities on this leg of the journey. Rick Steves has everyone find a "buddy" to keep track of during the trip. These are our buddies, Susan and Jack from Olympia, WA. We are already talking about getting together after our trip is over.
Ireland is sheep country, including the Dingle Peninsula, so we stopped for a sheep herding and shearing demonstration. This dog loved her job, but it was hard work chasing sheep over rocks and steep hills.
Muckross House was given to the country to form this national park, and it is where we stopped for a picnic lunch. Lots of beautiful gardens to take a stroll through during the break.
The view from our B&B looking at the bay and the town of Dingle right at sunset. We stay three nights in Dingle, so will have lots of opportunity to explore the area.
